A football injury to his back in high school connected Matt to Physical Therapy, igniting his passion for the profession. Some say that often you don't pick a profession, but a profession picks you, and Matt is living proof.

In the past, Matt has conducted research related to establishing a reliable method of measuring shoulder dysfunctions (supraspinatus and infraspinatus cross sectional area via diagnostic ultrasound), presenting his findings at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) annual meetings.

Matt is a member of the APTA and can be found studying/attending courses on the shoulder, knee, and spine injuries. Otherwise out of the clinic, Matt has been known to shoot some "treys" on the basketball courts, golfing, and attending as many Phillies games per year that he can.
