Katie is originally from England. She graduated from Coventry University in England with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. After graduation Katie worked as a sports therapist at a ski resort in France. After some time Katie moved to the United States to pursue her passion for physical therapy.
While in both the United States and the United Kingdom Katie worked in a variety of settings including stroke units, intensive care units, outpatient orthopedic clinics, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute medical wards.
While completing her doctorate at Drexel University Katie completed an internship with PTW where her passion for orthopedics continued to grow. While in school she was the chair of the clinical practice committee and volunteered with an adaptive rowing club. Katie is a member of the APTA and Orthopedic Section. She has experience treating orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and neurology and has completed Pelvic Floor Level 1 specialization courses.
In her free time Katie enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding and she continues to have a strong passion for becoming orthopedic certified and continuing to work towards becoming pelvic floor certified.
