Jackie has been focusing her practice on orthopedic manual therapy. In her practice she empowes patients to take control of their body while giving them the tools to do so. Jackie is a Direct Access Licensed therapist, meaning she can see a patient prior to receiving a prescription from a doctor for 30 days under most insurances. This allows her to intervene and start the rehabilitation and healing process sooner, while working to refer these patients to a medical doctor that will best suit their needs.
She is a member of The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and looks forward to growing as a professional by implementing evidence based practice, attending conferences, and attending advanced continuing education courses.
To further her skills Jackie takes advanced coursework in the McKenzie method, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and other varying courses. She is a member of The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), attends professional conferences, and implements evidence-based practices. Jackie has been focusing her practice on low back and neck conditions, knees, shoulders, post-surgical rehabilitation, vestibular disorders, and temporomandibular disorders, however, she does treat all orthopedic conditions.
In her free time, Jackie loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys a very active lifestyle and participates in a variety of fitness activities including, hiking, running, cycling, weightlifting and other fitness activities which integrates well into PTW’s orthopedic practice. Additionally, Jackie enjoys volunteering at her alma mater, Neumann University, to assist physical therapy students in their education. She also enjoys attending community events and volunteering whenever she’s able.
