Sports Performance Programs
The Physical Therapy and Wellness Institute will provide each participant with a thorough training program tailored towards their personal goals, their athletic needs, as well as their specific sports demands. Testing will be based upon the scientific Optimum Performance Training (OPT) Methods as identified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine to provide a thorough understanding of each individual's athletic needs through kinetic chain and performance assessments.
Once the assessments are completed, the program will be created by a Performance Enhancement Specialist with help from the licensed Physical Therapists and Athletic Trainers. Programs will consist of six phases to improve stability, strength, and power while incorporating Speed, Agility, and Quickness drills along with Plyometric activities to gain the maximal benefit of training.
No one day of training will be the same as the last to provide the athlete with a fun and adaptive environment to train in. Greatest results are noticed when training three times a week, depending on the athlete's goals. Be prepared to sweat during this highly intensive training.
