Robert Babb, PT, MBA, is a licensed Physical Therapist, American Physical Therapy Association member, and local resident who brings his 34 years of experience and pro-active, educationally oriented programs to the Montgomery and Bucks county areas. He is a graduate of Temple University, and served 6 years in various physical therapy centers while in the United States Navy.
In 2001, Robert completed his studies at DeSales University to earn his MBA in business management. He is PTW's community liaison, providing up to 20 community education talks and has lectured nationally at the American Physical Therapy Associations Private Practice conference on business management. As the founder and one of the lead organizers of the Broad Street ReRun, he has helped partner with community organizations one of Lansdale/Upper Gwynedd's biggest community events. He has authored three journal articles on manual techniques of Physical Therapy, and over the years traveled throughout the states discussing the positive effects of aquatic physical therapy.
Robert is a certified industrial medicine specialist with the Occucare group, providing industrial medicine services to numerous local organizations and industries. In his career, he has helped individuals with acute and chronic injuries, work injuries, sports injuries, and members of the Philadelphia Eagles get back to their playing field. He is the father of three near adult children, and his wife Diane has worked in the past with the PTW staff as an Occupational Therapist and Office Administrator. Skiing, boating, coaching, and ballparks, along with his nutty dog Cody are his pastimes.
