PTW Staff Additions
LANSDALE, PA - The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute is proud to announce the addition of four new Physical Therapists and one new Physical Therapist Assistant to the PTW crew. Joining the team are Carolyn Beitler PTA, Brandon Lewandowski DPT, Charles Lewis DPT, April Phillips DPT, and Jaclyn Kern DPT.
Carolyn Beitler has spent her entire professional career working in outpatient orthopedics, treating and providing care to clients of all ages. She has been a clinical instructor to numerous students, guiding them through their clinical rotations. In addition to her past experiences, Carolyn has a large interest in treating sports injuries and working with athletes on sports conditioning. Her expertise will help enhance PTW's current sports conditioning and rehabilitation programs.
Jaclyn Kern has clinical experience with a variety of patient populations, including, orthopedic, post-operative, athletes, cardiopulmonary, neurologic, and geriatric. Her clinical interests include the neck, general orthopedics, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, vestibular disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Jaclyn's enthusiasm is many different fields makes her a great asset to the PTW team.
Recent University of Scranton graduate Charles Lewis joins the PTW team having earned several awards and recognitions while at school. During his time at Scranton, Charles constructed a systematic review examining appropriate interventions for chronic low back pain rehabilitation that was later presented at the American Physical Therapy Association's combined sections meeting. Charles also participated in his University's student-run health care clinic providing physical therapy services to uninsured members of his community. His time spent there earned him a place in the Physical Therapy Pro Bono National Honor Society.
Brandon Lewandowski has unofficially been part of the PTW since 2008, and officially part of the team since 2012. While in high school Brandon volunteered at PTW and later joined the team as part of the clinical support staff. Brandon has spent the past several years earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Temple University. Brandon is eager to start helping patients in even more of a way than when he did when he first back in 2008!

PTW - The Physical Therapy & Wellness Institute - has been offering quality driven outpatient Physical Therapy for those recovering from injuries, surgeries, muscle traumas, painful joints, and skeletal disorders since 2002. Using biangular equipment, NASA technology driven Anti-Gravity Treadmills, Aquatic Therapy, combined with customer/provider mutual planning, the incorporation of programs are seamless. In additional to the fully credentialed PT programs offered by licensed and direct access Physical Therapists, PTW also offers including pre-operative conditioning, medically based exercise programs, and sports training. PTW providers are licensed for direct access, so that clients may contact them directly without a referral from a physician. PTW has been recognized nationally for their outstanding programs and services and has been voted as the best Physical Therapy Practice by readers of The North Penn Reporter, The Times Herald, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and was named Small Business of the Year by the Penn Suburban Chamber of Commerce.
