Alex received her Bachelor of the Arts in Biology, as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. During her final year in the DPT program, she co-conducted research on the "Comparison of shoulder, hip, and trunk rotation variables in collegiate women's soccer and softball players." The research was honored with a poster presentation at the 2016 Combined Section's Meeting in Anaheim California.

Her interest in the physical therapy profession began after she completed PT for an ankle injury she sustained while pole vaulting in high school. Being able to educate patients on their conditions, support them through the toughest stages of their recovery, and celebrate with them as they reach their goals made her fall in love with this very unique and rewarding profession.

Because of Alex's high school and college participation in track and soccer, she has always been interested in working with athletes, in addition to treating vestibular conditions and manual therapy of the spine. In order to stay current with new research and to support her profession, Alex is a member of the Orthopedic and Sports Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys running, Spartan races/mud runs, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends. Her future goals include receiving her Orthopedic Certified Specialist and Sports Certified Specialist certifications thorough the American Physical Therapy Association.
